Privacy Policy — WeRead2Notion

WeRead2Notion ("the Service") is a self-hosted, invite-only tool that
syncs WeChat Reading (微信读书) highlights, notes, and reading statistics
to your personal Notion workspace.
What we do NOT collect
- We do not read or store the content of your highlights or notes outside of your Notion workspace. All notebook content lives in your Notion.
- We do not share your data with any third party.
- We do not sell, analyze, or profile your reading habits.
Where data lives
All notebook content lives in your Notion workspace, accessed via the
Notion API using your OAuth-authorized access token.
Our servers only hold:
- Encrypted credentials (decryptable only with the master key held by the Service operator)
- Sync logs (auto-purged after 90 days)
- Aggregated counters (e.g. total users, total sync runs)
How to delete your data
- Disconnect the integration in Notion: Settings & members → Connections → WeRead2Notion → Remove. This revokes our access token immediately.
- Request full account deletion by emailing the support address below.
We will delete your
users,invite_code_bindings, andsync_logsrows within 7 days.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly
collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above will change.
Material changes will be announced on the project README.

You may also self-host the Service on your own infrastructure; in that case
the privacy practices are determined by your own deployment, not by us.
